China to open Technical Training Centres in Pakistan

A leading Chinese technology group, China International Intellectech Group has expressed its desire to open centers in Pakistan and train youth to become productive members of the population.

The intent was shown during a meeting between Secretary Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani and a high-powered Chinese delegation led by Chairman, CIIC Technology Group Co. Ltd, Wang Dang in Islamabad today (Monday).

The Chairman CIIC Technology Group said the primary purpose is to train local employees for other Chinese companies that are expanding their business in Pakistan as part of the CPEC project.

Welcoming the Chinese delegation, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani said Pakistan faces a myriad of challenges in the field of education due climate change. He informed the delegation that the Education Ministry has mobilized all resources to address the issue.

He said the Ministry of Education is addressing the issues of access to schools, limited infrastructure, and quality of teachers training and nutritional problems of children.

In his remarks, the Chairman CIIC Technology Group said Pakistan has huge potential and through proper management of resources, all of the issues can be addressed. He praised the efforts of the Ministry for Education in championing the cause "Education for all".
