In Afghanistan, Taliban have captured Sheberghan city in Jawzjan province.

The Deputy Governor of the province, Qader Malia said today that it is the second provincial capital which fell to the insurgents in less than 24 hours.

He said the government forces and officials have retreated to the airport.
