Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has urged institutions to rapidly build their capabilities in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

He was addressing the first International Dental Conference organised by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University in Islamabad today. 

Ahsan Iqbal said higher education institutions must reposition themselves as centres of innovation rather than remaining confined to conventional teaching and research.
