In India, at least 200 people are missing after a piece of Himalayan glacier fell into a river, causing a torrent that tore through two power plants and swept away roads and bridges in Uttarakhand state.

According to officials, most of the victims were workers of power plants and seven dead bodies have so far been recovered during search and rescue operations.
