Ambassador of Somalia in Pakistan, Sheikh Noor Mohammad Hassan met Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan in Lahore today.
During the meeting, both discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to boost bilateral ties in various sectors including education and commerce. The Somalian Ambassador conveyed the issues being faced by Somalian students in Pakistan.
Speaking during meeting, the Punjab Governor said that there is a need to boost bilateral ties further in various sectors including education and commerce. He said that a Focal Person will be appointed to solve the issues being faced by students from Somalia and other states.
The Somalian Ambassador said that Somalia greatly values its relations with Pakistan and imports surgical equipment, pharmaceuticals and other products from Pakistan. He reiterated his commitment to further boost bilateral ties.
