Punjab Governor Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman has urged youth to play vital role in development of the country.

He said this while addressing the 19th Convocation of Islamia University Bahawalpur on Monday.

He said that students are valuable asset and future of the country.

While talking about elections, Governor Punjab said that elections would be held simultaneously across the country.

He said effective steps are being taken to revive agriculture across the Country. He added that Bahawalpur has declared as cotton zone.

He said that according to the Transparency International, corruption had been increased in the tenure of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
