Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has praised Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed as a champion of democracy and a fervent advocate for dialogue and reconciliation in the political process.

In his message on the 17th anniversary of her martyrdom, the Prime Minister underscored Benazir Bhutto's enduring legacy as an icon of courage and resilience.

He noted that the Charter of Democracy, signed between Benazir Bhutto and Mian Nawaz Sharif, stands as a testament to her profound political maturity and understanding.  

The Prime Minister expressed his deepest respect to Benazir Bhutto's family, particularly President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, as well as her followers who continue to uphold her vision and advance her ideology.
