In Afghanistan, at least eleven people were killed and thirty others injured in an explosion inside a mosque in Badakhshan province today (Thursday).

According to a statement Police Chief Najibullah Badakhshi said, a former police commander of Baghlan province, Safiullah Samim, was among the dead.
