Minister for National Health Services Abdul Qadir Patel has said the government is making all-out efforts to protect citizens from various diseases by utilizing all available resources.

In a statement, he said Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has approved a 282 million dollar grant for Tuberculosis and Malaria control program in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, talking to country representatives and global polio partners during a briefing in Islamabad, Minister for National Health Services said the children of Pakistan need more support at this time when the end of polio seems possible.
