All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called upon democratic countries to formulate a collective strategy to implement a political and economic boycott of India.

The demand to this effect was made at a meeting of APHC members in Srinagar today.

The APHC also referenced a report of American magazine Sophist, which labeled India as the second most dangerous country for tourists due to rising violence against minorities and increasing religious extremism.

Later, in a statement, APHC spokesman Abdul Rashid Minhas denounced ongoing harmful policies of India towards minorities, including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, and Dalits in India, as well as the suppression of right to self-determination in Jammu and Kashmir.

Hurriyat leaders reiterated that lasting peace in South Asia is unattainable without resolving the Kashmir dispute in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

In Udhampur, two Indian policemen were found dead with bullet injuries. The bodies were discovered inside a police van parked near a temple.

National Conference leader Omar Abdullah acknowledged that bureaucratic non-cooperation severely hampered governance and public service delivery due to Delhi-appointed Lieutenant Governor in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
