In Bangladesh, at least 52 people were killed and ten others injured due to fire at a food factory in Rupganj area of Narayanganj district.

Authorities told reporters that the 49 bodies were recovered from the 4th floor of the six-storey building.

They said the bodies were charred beyond recognition DNA sampling may be needed to hand over the bodies to their families.

The fire fighters are still working to control the fire in the building that broke out last night.
