Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said independent, and geographically integrated Palestinian state could not be delayed any longer.

Addressing a ceremony in Yesilkoy, he said Türkiye is ready to do its part to stop the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and reduce the tensions that escalated on Saturday.

Meanwhile, in a telephonic conversation with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Iran's president Ibrahum Raeisi said all Muslim nations would soon pray together in the al-Aqsa Mosque, the first ‘Qibla’ of Muslims.

On the other side, the United Nations Security Council divided over response to Israel-Hamas conflict and no joint statement could be issued.
