International Anti-Corruption Day is being observed across the world including Pakistan on Sunday.
Governor and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in their separate messages have called for collective efforts to root out the menace of corruption from society.
In his message on the International Anti-Corruption Day, Governor Shah Farman said it is the foremost responsibility of the government to ensure transparency and justice in its governance.
In his message on the occasion, Chief Minister Mehmood Khan said the dream of developed country can be realized by making the institutions free from corruption and political interference.
The Chief Minister said huge reforms have been introduced in the province for good governance and accountability of government officials.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf came into power with the agenda of elimination of menace of corruption.
In his message on Anti-corruption Day, he termed the corruption as stealing the rights of the people and tantamount to treason with the country.
The Chief Minister said that the scourge of corruption is weakening the foundations of the state.
