In India, one woman reports a rape every fifteen minutes.

According to annual crime report released by Home Ministry, women reported almost thirty-four thousand rapes in 2018.

Report said India is one of the worst places in the world for female.

The highly publicized gang rape and murder of a woman in a bus in New Delhi in 2012 brought tens of thousands onto the streets across India and spurred demands for action.

But the violence has continued unabated.
