Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Wazir has said that the government is working on achieving millennium development goals and hoped that targets of sustainable development goals (SDGs) will be achieved before 2030.

Addressing a ceremony in Karachi on Tuesday, she said that the government is determined to control the impacts of climate change and Prime Minister Imran Khan is one of five world leaders working on climate change.

She said a billion tree tsunami initiated by the government is aimed at achieving the targets of sustainable development goals in the climate change sector.
