Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the government is taking special measures for promotion of international tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan, which had a lot of potential.

Talking to Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khursheed in Islamabad today [Friday], he said the government paid special attention to promotion of winter sports and local tourism in Gilgit Baltistan during the last three years.

He said the government accords key priority to provision of world-class facilities to tourists in the area.

The meeting held in depth-discussion on various ongoing projects for promotion of tourism in Gilgit Baltistan and GB Vision 2050.
