President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized on imparting education to students keeping in view the modern day requirements.

Addressing Virtual University Convocation in Islamabad on Wednesday, he appreciated the university for producing educated youth as per demands of the market.

The President said the institutions like Virtual University are playing an important role in promoting of education. He said information and education have reached the far flung areas of the country through distance learning.

He said internet has enhanced access to information, and 5G technology can bring a flood of knowledge.

Referring to Coronavirus, the President said the government has taken effective measures to contain spread of the virus.

He said precautionary measures can prove effective for safety from the virus infection.
