In Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir members of the civil society have demanded an end to India's unlawful occupation and the restoration of Articles 370 and 35-A.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, civil society representatives gathered in Srinagar urged an immediate cessation of atrocities and settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN SC resolutions.
Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has criticized India's stance on Kashmir and its persistent denial to address the dispute.
In a statement, it reiterated the exercise of the right to self-determination through a plebiscite supervised by the international community.
On the other hand, Kashmiris commemorated the 36th death anniversary of the first elected President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, K. H. Khurshid today, honoring his contributions to the Kashmiri cause and pursuit of self-determination.
Special ceremonies were held across AJK and parts of Pakistan in memory of the iconic leader.
