Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain has said that the government is fully committed to promote dairy industry in the country.

Talking to a delegation of the Dairy Association in Islamabad on Friday, the Minister said milk is a basic necessity for every citizen and should either be tax-free or subjected to minimal tax.

Rana Tanveer Hussain said Ministry will soon organize a seminar, inviting all stakeholders to collaborate and find sustainable solutions to the problems faced by the dairy sector.
