Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain has directed to ensure provision of best facilities to Pakistani pilgrims during Hajj days to make their stay at the tent city of Mina comfortable in view of the hot weather.

He gave these directions during his visit to the Pakistan Hajj Mission Hospital in Makkah.

According to Radio Pakistan Correspondent Bilal Khan Mehsud, the Minister stressed the need for more effective coordination among all departments of the Hajj Mission to ensure the well-being of pilgrims.

The Minister was informed that freshly cooked food would be provided to pilgrims in Mina and Arafat this year, with Hajj support staff monitoring facilities in Mina tents and maintaining close contact with representatives of Saudi Makatib.

After the visit, Chaudhry Salik Hussain chaired a meeting with Secretary Religious Affairs Zulfiqar Haider, Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Facilitation and Coordination Nadeem Ahmed Khan, Joint Secretary Hajj Sajjad Haider Yaldram, Director Makkah Faheem Khan Afridi, Director Madina Zia-ur-Rehman, Director Food, Accommodation and Transport Asghar Yusufzai and Director Hajj Medical Mission Brigadier Jamil Ahmed Lakhair in attendance.
