Continuous heavy rains have caused urban flooding like situation in Karachi that badly affected routine life and caused power outage in many areas.

Radio Pakistan Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado reports that water level has increased in Malir and Lyari rivers whereas people stranded in Lyrai were shifted to safer place on boats.

The staff concerned is busy in draining out rain water and to clear the roads.
