The Palestinian Ministry of Health says about five hundred healthcare workers have been killed and hundreds of others injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 last year.

In a statement, the Ministry said more than three hundred health workers have been arrested, while one hundred and thirty ambulances have been destroyed in Gaza by Israeli forces.

The Ministry said that a deliberate targeting of medical infrastructure by Israel has deprived Palestinian citizens of access to basic healthcare services.
