Former Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader Yashwant Shinde says Hindu extremist organizations like Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal are engaged in terrorist activities across India.
He was speaking during a Congressional briefing co-organized by a coalition of human rights organizations, including the Indian American Muslim Council, in Washington.
Yashwant Shinde said the rightwing Hindu outfits like RSS engineered several bomb blasts across India in the 2000s to help Bharatiya Janata Party wing elections.
He said India’s investigation agencies never arrested the masterminds from among the RSS leadership who were the brain behind the terror bombings.
