President Dr Arif Alvi has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Bahrain's Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa.

 In his condolence message, he commiserated with people of Bahrain and prayed higher status for the departed soul in heaven.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has also expressed deepest condolences to the Khalifa family and brotherly people of Bahrain on the passing of Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa.

In a tweet onWednesday, the Prime Minister said that he was a man of great vision, profound integrity and above all a close friend to the people of Pakistan. He also prayed that may his soul rest in eternal peace.
