President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his sincere gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping for his message of goodwill and wishes for a swift recovery following his recent injury.
In a letter dated the 3rd of this month, President Xi conveyed his concern over Zardari’s injury and extended his heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery. President Xi also took the opportunity to invite Zardari to visit China at a mutually convenient time.
In his message, President Xi reiterated the deep and enduring friendship between Pakistan and China, emphasizing the shared commitment to strengthening the China-Pakistan community with a shared future in this new era.
In response, President Zardari expressed his eagerness to visit China in the near future, highlighting that such a visit would further strengthen the long-standing and ironclad ties between the two nations. He also expressed his deep appreciation for President Xi’s kind and thoughtful message and acknowledged the overwhelming support from China’s leadership and people.
President Zardari also thanked President Xi for his visionary leadership and continued support in advancing the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.
Both the leaders underscored the importance of their "all-weather" strategic cooperative partnership, reaffirming their mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral relations.
