The Frontier Works Organization (FWO) has successfully constructed the Jaglot-Skardu Road, overcoming the once-daunting challenge of traveling through the rugged mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan.

In 2017, the Jaglot-Skardu Road Project was entrusted to FWO. Embracing the challenge, FWO completed the project successfully with its remarkable expertise.

A foreign company had demanded 52 billion rupees for the project, but FWO completed the highway for only 31 billion rupees.

Earlier, the journey from Gilgit to Skardu used to take 12 to 13 hours, but after the construction of this highway, this time has been reduced to only 3 hours.
