A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has jolted various areas of the country, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir a short while ago.

Our Gilgit correspondent Sher Muhammad reported that strong tremors were felt in Hunza, Skardu, Gilgit and adjoining areas.

The epicentre of quake was in Tajikistan at the depth of 80 kilometers.

There are no reports of any casualties or property damage till the filing of this report.
