China and North Korea have marked the 57th anniversary with signing of China-DPRK friendly cooperation and mutual aid treaty in Pyongyang.

Addressing the ceremony held in this connection in capital of North Korea, charge d'affaires of the Chinese embassy Zhang Chenggang termed the treaty as an important historical event.

He said it demonstrates the DPRK-China friendship nourished by the old generations of leaders of the two countries.
