Pakistan and the Republic of Togo have agreed to strengthen high-level bilateral political engagement, people-to-people exchanges and close coordination at the United Nations and OIC forum.
The understanding was reached at a meeting between Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Foreign Minister of Togo Robert Dussey in Islamabad on Friday.
The Defence Minister expressed Pakistan's desire to enhance economic, trade and investment cooperation with Togo as part of the Government's vision for enhancing engagement with the African Continent.
On his part, the Togolese Foreign Minister underscored Togo's desire for deepening engagement with Pakistan, particularly in trade, investment and security domains.
