International Day for South-South Cooperation is being observed today.

The day celebrates the growing solidarity, collaboration and exchange of practical solutions among countries of the Global South.

The 2026 observance will mark the launch of the Global Alliance for South-South and Triangular Cooperation, a voluntary, UN-facilitated platform convened by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation.
