Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has directed Railways officials to restore the train service for Mach on 20th of this month.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore on Saturday, he said the Jaffar express will leave the passengers in Mach station, and afterwards, bus service will be provided to commuters from Mach to Quetta.

In a bid to provide facilities to passengers at Mach station, Saad Rafique said seven washrooms have been constructed and two generators were also installed at the station. He further directed to equip Mach station with new benches, additional water coolers and security cameras.

The Railways Minister directed to take suggestions form the Chamber of Commerce to enhance the revenue stream from Quetta-Taftaan section.

The Minister gave special instructions to Divisional Superintendent to take strict action against the encroachment in Peshawar Division.
