Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved in principle the establishment of the Pakistan Post Pension Fund.

The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister regarding the pension of Pakistan Post employees in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The purpose of establishing the Pakistan Pension Fund is to reduce the burden of pensions on the government and to ensure better management of employee's pension matters.
