The 3rd death anniversary of foremost leading film actresses Sabiha Khanum was observed on Tuesday.

Sabiha Khanum was born Mukhtar Begum. She ruled Pakistani cinema in 1950s and '60s with superhit movies, including Kaneez, Mukhra, Anokha, Tehzeeb and many others. She gave award-winning performances in films during 1980s and 1990s as well.

She was awarded Pride of Performance in 1986.

She died on this day in the United States at the age of 84.
