Parliamentary meeting of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was held in Islamabad, with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the chair.

It was attended by Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Syed Khursheed Shah, Leader of Opposition in the Senate Sherry Rehman, Syed Naveed Qamar and other senior leaders.

The meeting discussed strategy for the inaugural session of National Assembly.

Syed Khursheed Shah briefed the meeting about the contacts made with different political parties regarding election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker.

Later, Syed Khursheed Shah told media that party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will take oath in the parliament today and will play an active role in the House.

He said PPP will use the forum of parliament to resolve the national issues.
