Indian forces have intensified cordon and search operations across various districts in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian army troops and paramilitary forces' personnel set up checkpoints,  carrying out house raids and door-to-door searches in Srinagar, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kulgam, Islamabad, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Doda, Rajouri and Poonch districts.

Th residents, including women and elderly, faced harassment and aggressive questioning.  Extensive measures have severely restricted media access, resulting in a lack of information on the exact situation of the besieged Kashmiri population under occupational rule.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned the deployment of over one million Indian troops in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, warning that it has triggered a grave humanitarian crisis in the territory.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, APHC spokesperson Abdul Rashid Minhas said the relentless and violent cordon and search operations conducted by Indian forces’ personnel have transformed the territory into a living hell for its people.

He further emphasized that without resolution to the Kashmir and Palestine disputes, the dream of achieving lasting peace and stability in both South Asia and the Middle East cannot be realized.

Meanwhile, thousands of people attended the funeral of martyred woman Abida in Naidkhai Sumbal, area of Bandipora district. She succumbed to injuries from a mysterious blast in Srinagar’s Sunday market on 3rd of this month.
