In India, police raided today the BBC's New Delhi offices weeks after it aired a documentary critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Police during the raid prevented people from entering or leaving the BBC office. They confiscated all phones from the employee.
The documentary aired by the broadcaster said Modi, the then chief minister of Gujarat state had ordered police to turn a blind eye to anti-Muslim riots in 2002 that left more than one thousand people mostly Muslim dead.
