The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during a telephonic conversation, have discussed various ongoing initiatives to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The UN Chief appreciated the Turkish President's mediation efforts between Russia and Ukraine.

The UN chief and President Erdogan also exchanged views on issues of nuclear security and the impact of the crisis on food and energy security in the world.
