The Sindh government plans to construct climate resilient school buildings across the province so that education of children is not affected.

This was stated by Sindh Minister for Education and Culture Syed Sardar Shah while speaking at a workshop on "Building Back Better” organized in collaboration with Sindh Government, UNESCO, World Bank, USAID and JICA in Karachi.

Syed Sardar Shah said due to rains, 20 percent of the schools in Sindh have been completely destroyed while 31 percent have been partially damaged that affected the 50 percent of teaching process in the province.
