The project is aimed at assisting communities affected by severe winter conditions and natural disasters across the country.

Under the project, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief distributed 50,000 winter kits in 52 districts across the country in collaboration with the NDMA and Provincial Disaster Management Authorities.

The aid positively impacted over 337,000 individuals in some of the coldest and most vulnerable regions in the country including 17 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10 of Gilgit-Baltistan, 11 of Balochistan, 6 of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 6 of Sindh, and 2 districts of Punjab.

Each winter package included two high-quality polyester quilts, warm shawl kits for men and women, and winter clothing for children and adults.

The initiative reinforces King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief dedication to humanitarian aid and its mission to support vulnerable communities in times of crisis.
