In the United States, a referendum on the establishment of Khalistan will be held on Sunday.

The announcement was made by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, founder of the US-based pro-Khalistan organization Sikhs for Justice, while addressing a press conference via video link.

He said 18,000 Sikh farmers have committed suicide in India due to heavy debts.
