Pakistan has been granted the right to host next Asia Cup in 2020.

The decision was made at the executive board meeting of Asian Cricket Council in Dhaka.   

Pakistan will host the mega event for the first time after 2008.

Pakistan has not has yet decided where to hold the tournament.

The tournament, which will switch back to being a T20 event, is scheduled to be played in September 2020, a month ahead of the World Twenty20 in Australia.
