Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani have commended the security forces for successful intelligence-based operations against Fitna-al-Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.    

In their separate statements, they paid tribute to Havaldar Muhammad Zahid and Sepoy Aftab Ali Shah, who fought bravely during the operation and sacrificed their lives for the country.

The Prime Minister and Acting President prayed for the highest ranks of the martyrs and patience for their families.        

They said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in this war against terrorism and is proud of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.           

They said we will continue to fight the menace of terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country.
