In India, tens of thousands of women have taken to the streets in West Bengal to protest the brutal molestation and murder of a trainee doctor at a state-run hospital in Kolkata last week.  

Following nearly a week of intense protests sparked by the horrific murder of a 31-year-old female trainee doctor at the RG-Kar Medical College last Friday, social media has been flooded with calls for people to join the protests.

Women from all walks of life have joined the protests, demonstrating their outrage and solidarity against the heinous crime.
