In Bangladesh, the government has announced that all garment factories will open for production from today.

Industries Adviser Adil-ur-Rehman said those trying to shut down factories to destabilize the economy will be dealt with strictly. He also assured that security will be provided to factories.

Earlier, at a meeting, factory owners decided to shut down their production units indefinitely from today under "no work no pay" policy if the labour unrest persisted.
