Palestinian ministry calls for intl intervention after Israel raids Al-Shifa Hospital

Israeli occupation forces today stormed Gaza's largest hospital blowing out its doors and partition threatening lives of thousands of ailing and sheltering civilians in the building.

According to media, before assault the hospital Internet services and power supplies were disconnected and journalists present in and near building were arrested by Israeli soldiers.

Thousands of patients and displaced Palestinians are trapped inside, including dozens of premature babies who are fighting for their lives.

The United Nations said at least 2,300 patients, staff and displaced civilians are inside facility, trapped by days of Israeli bombardments and missile strikes.

Meanwhile, International rights groups have said Israel’s attacks on hospitals should be investigated as war crimes.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has demanded urgent international intervention for protection of civilians after Israeli forces raided the Al-Shifa Hospital.

In a statement on social media platform X, the ministry condemned the Israeli raid of Al-Shifa and other hospitals in Gaza, describing it as a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws.
