Special Representative of the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi says minorities in Pakistan are enjoying complete religious freedom as well as equal rights.

He was addressing provincial youth conference organized by Diocese of Peshawar Church of Pakistan in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Tahir Ashrafi said the constitution of Pakistan ensures all basic rights to its citizen without any discrimination and it is the prime responsibility of the state.

He said the government will stop misuse of any law, including blasphemy laws, against any innocent citizen, including minorities.
