Federal Minister for Privatization and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has said that trade corridors from Pakistan can help Central Asian countries access ports for increasing trade.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Yerzhan Kastafin, who called on him in Islamabad.
The minister said under the current circumstances Pakistani products are the best option for Central Asian countries.
He proposed to establish display centers in Pakistan for the foreign business community where these products could be showcased and sold under one roof to raise the trade of industrial products.
Aleem Khan pointed out that foreign investment is Pakistan’s top priority and is essential for improving the economy. He said Pakistan wants better road infrastructure to increase foreign investment.
Kazakhstan’s Ambassador said that excellent trade and economic relations with Pakistan are also in the wider interest of his country.
