The Supreme Court has ordered registration of marriages of the Christian community.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice, Mian Saqib Nisar passed the order while hearing the case in Islamabad today. 

The Court directed all the Union Councils to ensure registration of the Christian Marriages.

It also ordered NADRA to issue a computerized marriage certificate to the Christian couples.

The Court directed the Punjab Government to enact a proper legislation in this connection.
