Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has been turned into a military fortress due to intensified restrictions marked by disgrace, humiliation and insult to its people at the hands of Indian brutal forces ahead of the proposed G20 meeting in Srinagar.
As the date for the event draws nearer, the Kashmir valley wears a look of a military garrison with Indian spy agencies along with army and paramilitary forces massively increasing raids on the houses of Hurriyat leaders and activists, social media users and civil society members in the territory.
Special police nakas have been set up in all major cities and towns. Life of civilians living along the Line of Control has particularly been made a hell in the name of security.
Multi-tier security comprising Army, Border Security Force, police and Central Reserve Police Force besides Village Defence Committees has been activated along the Line of Control.
The G20 meeting will begin on the banks of the Dal Lake in Srinagar from Monday.
Meanwhile, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a woman in Baramulla district. She was martyred by the troops during a violent cordon and search operation in the district.
A petition submitted by the Tehreek-e-Kashmir, UK, urged the British government to reject India’s invitation to participate in the G20 meeting in Srinagar, as the event will violate international law and the UN mandate on Jammu and Kashmir.
