US rights groups plan protests against Indian Prime Minister Modi’s state visit to Washington over the country deteriorating human rights situation.

The protests have been planned by Indian American Muslim Council, Peace Action, Veterans for Peace and Bethesda African Cemetery Coalition near the White House on 22nd of this month as Modi is due to meet President Joe Biden.

The groups will carry flyers having slogans Modi Not Welcome and Save India from Hindu Supremacy.
